About

The Mourne Lodge is a community enterprise in the beautiful Mourne Mountains. It is the perfect escape to relax and unwind. We provide the authentic Irish experience with a warm welcome from our attentive staff.

The centre is the perfect location for the outdoor enthusiast. You can take a short stroll to the breath-taking Silent Valley and Lough Shannagh. Challenge yourself and hike the many mountains nearby and be rewarded with the best scenery Northern Ireland can offer.

During the summer months, we are lucky to have the Mourne Rambler bus service. Check Translink for local bus service. Taxi from Kilkeel is approx. £5 - Joe's Taxi 02841763793. If you are coming from Dublin please check out the Scenic Carlingford Ferry (Huge Time Saver!!). We offer a range of rooms to suit every need including single, double, twin, quad and family rooms, all en-suite. For the budget traveller, we also have beds in shared dorms.

Meals are served at The Mourne Lodge. Continental breakfasts are always available each morning. Cooked breakfasts should be ordered in advance as we try to serve only the best fresh local ingredients. Evening dinners and packed lunches are also available on request. There are excellent self-catering facilities for guests to wish to prepare their own meals.
