The Lodge at Pilgrim Cottage

About

Situated some four miles inland from the small town of Ballycastle, in a tranquil rural location, beside a National Forest and on a National Cycle Route. It is a purpose built, single storey, self contained, self catering unit. The Lodge is a no smoking facility.

We and our guests have been excited by regular visits by red squirrels since August 2012. We have two feeding boxes in the garden and have been able to photograph them frequently. Other wildlife visitors include pheasants and birds attracted to the bird table.

Accommodation includes a large double bedroom with king sized bed, en suite bathroom with double ended bath with shower over. The compact living space consists of a fully fitted designer kitchen diner and living area. A sofa bed (double) allows extra sleeping space for adults/children. The kitchen is equipped with a double oven electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer. Full central heating is provided plus an electric fire. A 26 inch flat screen TV, plus DVD player, are provided; the TV has three HDMI sockets plus computer and camera card sockets.

A free welcome pack is provided.

The outlook is completely rural, with open fields to the rear to the front. Garden furniture and a summer house are available for the use of guests.

Weekend and mid-week breaks available during low season, please contact for more details.
