Located in the ever popular seaside town of Ballycastle,voted three times a top spot to live in, by the Sunday Times, Castaway Cottage is situated in a mature plot in the 'old part of town,' within a short walk of the beautiful Bay.

Set in a generously sized location,enjoying sea and mountain views,with parking for up to three cars at the front and a completely secure garden for total privacy and security at the back, in which you'll have a range of seating options to enjoy the flora and views.

You have the option of total se(a)clusion, enjoying the 5 minute walk to the town, or the seafront, marina, Fairhead and/or easy access by bus or car to the many notable natural attractions of the rest of the North Coast including the Giants Causeway, Carrickarede Rope Bridge, Ballintoy, Murlough Bay, Cushendun and Cushendall to name a few.

Set over two floors, the total sleeping accomodation is comfortably 7, with the possibility of an 8th person by exception.Three bedrooms on the ground floor offer; one doublebed, twin beds and a single room with ensuite.The one bedroom upstairs offers a double bed and in a small adjoining anteroom there is a day bed and space for a cot if necessary.

The backdoor enters into a utlity room with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.The kitchen id fully equipped with all pans,crockery and accotroments necessary to ensure a 'home from home' experience.The lounge/diner overlooks the garden to the rear, with patio doors to the terrace and steps to the garden proper,populated with various tables and chairs including a large picnic bench. Dining table and chairs accomdate eight and sofa and armchairs for a relaxing view out over the garden.

The frontdoor leads into an entrance porch and on to the main hallway, off which you'll find the formal lounge with open fire.

Road Directions

Quiet road with gardens to the front of mature properties on either side. Walking 5 minutes in one direction will lead you into town, where you'll find a variety of national and family owned retailers.A full range of products are available from independants includeing award winning butchers and bakeries, florists, galleries, hardware, sports, gorceries etc  Heading in the other direction will bring you to the marina, the Bay and the ferry terminal.A further few steps on from the sea front and you reach the bowling green, tennis courts, pitch and putt and golf course.
