Ballyrusley B&B

About

Our award-winning Ballyrusley B&B is set in the beautiful countryside of the Strangford and Lecale area and is surrounded by fields, close to great beaches and a short drive from the charming coastal town of Portaferry.

We have two rooms – a double ensuite and a twin room with adjacent bathroom. Guests have their own large lounge and dining room and the gated property has a large child/dog friendly garden, with barbeque facilities in the summer months and free private parking.

We welcome dogs and their well-behaved owners inside the property but please telephone us before making your reservation as we always like to make Ballyrusley B&B the best for you and our other guests will occasionally have to suggest other dates.

As a gated property, we are a popular accommodation provider for visitors and competitors at Kirkistwon Race Circuit. We have a large garage which is appreciated by both cyclists and motor cyclists.

Portaferry is home to Exploris – a uge favourite of all ages and the town was the location for the feature film ‘The Bookshop’ and nearby attractions include Castle Ward (Winterfell in Game of Thrones), and Mount Stewart. Also of interest, the tv series ‘My Mother and Other Strangers’ was filmed locally in Kearney Village. After eating our locally sourced delicious breakfast a day trip to Belfast is easily done, with maybe a visit to the Titanic Exhibition, a show at the Grand Opera House or some quality retail therapy!

Facilities currently include:
Private parking, WiFi internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, locally sourced produce.
Freeview TV in each bedroom
Freeview/Freesat TV and DVD in Lounge

Lockable storage is available for visitors on cycling holidays. Packed lunches are also available*.
