This delightful home in Portrush has provided guests with high quality bed and breakfast accommodation for 30+years. It has recently been extensively renovated and Anvershiel’s guests enjoy the best of traditional B&B experience, free private parking and modern facilities. Six spacious ensuite guest bedrooms offer high speed WiFi, digital freeview TV, DVD players, complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries, a choice of pillow types and a range of high quality bedding. Twin, double, triple and family room types spread over the ground and first floors offer flexible options and an economical stay. A spacious guest lounge contains reclining armchairs, books, board games and the opportunity to chat and make friends amongst other guests. Less than 150 yards from the sandy, Blue Flag, ‘West Strand’ beach and Barry’s Funfair, and a short, scenic stroll (0.8m) from Portrush’s harbour area, Anvershiel’s location means you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of its best restaurants and bars whilst avoiding the sounds of nightlife. We are half a mile from Royal Portrush and Rathmo0re golf clubs, home of local Open winners Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell. Visitor attractions such as Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Dunluce Castle, Mussenden and Bushmills Distillery are close by and, within a 10 mile radius, you also have access to many of the historical film locations of the TV series, Game of Thrones.
