A lovely recently refurbished cottage to a modern high spec on 2.5 acres of rolling fields, located 2 miles outside the village of Bellaghy (5 miles from Castledawson and 8 miles from Magherafelt, Maghera and Toome) 'Teach Blas Ealaíne - Blas Ealaíne (a taste of art) Homeplace, Bellaghy' self-catering accommodation has views on the Antrim hills to the front and The Sperrin Mountains to the rear. Located in a central part of Ulster with all major tourist attractions (including Donegal, Giants Causeway, Mourne Mountains, Glens of Antrim) all within 50 minutes’ drive or less.

The property has a large multi-fuel stove with back boiler; Free WIFI; Ample parking for 6 cars; Fully insulated modern house with double glazing; Super king-sized bed and two double beds; Electric shower (off mains) and power shower (off hot water tank) and bath.

Visitors are offered a unique experience of art and Irish language lessons (available on request, subject to availability) provided by hosts (both artists) as well as access to local knowledge of wild life, local poets and historians, historic tours, fisheries, Hiking, Cycling and Canoeing (3 miles from Lough Beg and The River Bann, 6 miles from Lough Neagh)

The Seamus Heaney birthplace is half a mile away and The Seamus Heaney Homeplace museum 2 miles away.

Behind our cottage, enjoy our very own "fálta dorcha beaga" (wee dark hedges) - a lovely scenic walk surrounded by beech trees with stunning
