Over 25,000 visitors will flock to the event, across the week which features a jam packed itinerary, including; a magical mystery bus tour of the majestic Mourne mountains, fantastic concerts with the Newry, Mourne & Down Trad Orchestra in St Malachy’s Church and ZoDoMo on the gig rig, as well as the renowned and colourful Ulster Fleadh parade, open air music sessions and many more exciting events for all the family.

Castlewellan is situated in the very heart of Mourne country, where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to meet the sea, ensuring visitors will be just as entranced by the surroundings as the locals are. Castlewellan is a bustling market town filled with fantastic shops and a welcoming community. With the beautiful forest park and the iconic peace maze on the doorstep, as well as sandy beaches and the world’s number one golf, the Ulster Fleadh is the perfect escape for you and all the family.

Competitors of all ages are expected to travel from all over Ulster to represent their county in a range of competitions and family friendly community centred events. The Ulster Fleadh continues to offer visitors the chance to listen to some of the finest exponents of Irish music from across the globe, free of charge and playing alongside their musical contemporaries in relaxed street and pub sessions.
