Traditional Irish Bread Making
Bread making - proud Guests!
Bread making for Incentive groups

Join me in my 18th century thatched cottage in Ballymorran Bay, on the shores of Strangford Lough for a truly authentic traditional Irish bread making experience.

Only 30 minutes from Belfast in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

After a warm welcome and morning coffee northern Irish style with traditional breads to enjoy, we will get to work. Aprons on – we will make soda bread, wheaten / brown bread champ bread {made with potatoes}. We will also have a typical local sweet treat - tray bakes which you will enjoy with your tea or coffee. You will learn how to make these breads in a relaxed and cosy farmhouse kitchen.

All breads made are griddle breads which means that they are ready within 7 - 10 minutes! The small of freshly baked breads will make us all hungry. This is a truly authentic and immersive experience - and unique to NI Food Tours. You will take away a bag of freshly made breads and and a copy of all recipes used in the class.
