The Garden Studio at The Edible Flower

About

The Garden Studio has recently been renovated, there is a newly fitted ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and we provide towels for all guests.

The Garden Studio has a small kitchen that you can use for preparing simple meals - there is a fridge, sink, toaster, kettle and combination microwave & oven and we can provide a plug-in induction hob on request. The kitchen is kitted out with crockery, glassware and some cooking utensils. If you need to borrow anything else you can just let us know. There is a small dining area in the window in front of the garden for eating and relaxing. We'll provide you with the ingredients for preparing simple breakfasts while you are staying with us - freshly baked bread, butter, homemade jam, tea, coffee & milk.

The Edible Flower is a ‘fork-to-fork’ supper club and catering company that we run from this early 19th Century farmhouse in the beautiful drumlins (small hills) just outside Saintfield in County Down. We grow a lot of the produce that we use for our catering company in our kitchen garden at the front of the house. We also keep pigs in a small field behind the house and have one very friendly cat (Gilbert).

We run occasional supper clubs (pop up restaurant evenings), cooking and gardening classes. We have a wood-fired pizza oven in one of our outbuildings. To find out more information about our business and any upcoming events please visit our website theedibleflower.com.

The Garden Studio is only twenty-five minutes drive to Belfast (10 miles) and thirty minutes to Newcastle (15 miles) and the Mourne Mountains. If you are a Game of Thrones® fan it is thirty minutes drive (13 miles) to Castle Ward (the filming location for Winterfell). We are also close to a number of wedding venues, including Larchfield Estate, The Carriage Rooms at Montalto and Finnebrogue Woods.
