The Dairy

About

This bistro, butchers and farm shop is set in the heart of the Gleno valley, within a few minutes walk of Gleno waterfall and a short drive from Larne, Carrickfergus and the Causeway Coastal Route. Its cosy and rustic yet modern decor blends naturally into its rural surroundings and aims to provide a comfortable destination venue suitable for everyone.

They have a great culinary team who pride themselves on being able to cater for all needs, with a menu offering a wide range of breakfast and lunch dishes suitable for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. Traditional roast dinners are also available on Sundays. They sell Maud's ice-cream and as many locals know, Gleno was once home to the Maud's ice cream factory so its great to see it back here.

Their farm shop celebrates quality local suppliers and stocks a broad and varied range of artisanal produce, ranging from chutneys, to chocolates, cheeses, breads, sauces and sweet treats. They also stock a small range of exclusive The Dairy and gleno products, from T-shirts and tote bags to Gleno valley honey and their own blend of coffee.

Their butchers sells quality cuts of Irish meat and their on-site top of the range equipment means they can make sausages and burgers by hand daily. The Dairyside beef in the counter and on the menu even comes from the family farm on same site.

They have a walled courtyard with outdoor seating area for sunny days as well as a covered outdoor marquee area. Both of these sections are dog friendly.
