The Barn at Gortee is just outside Drumahoe villageand within a 10 minute drive to the beautiful historic walled City, Derry/ Londonderry. The Barn is an all in one studio suitable for two guests. It is decorated for country living with everything guests need for comfort and cosiness.

The sleeping arrangements are all in one large space, the bed space consists of a double. There is a well equipped kitchen with an induction hob, mini oven and a downdraft extractor fan. There is a pretty dining space to enjoy a meal. There is a relaxing sitting area to enjoy a roaring log fire and relax with a book or listen to music or watch tv. Please note the first basket of logs is included then guests can buy supplies in the village, a 2min drive. A selection of books and magazines are provided for guests to enjoy.
The bathroom has a modern walk in thermostatically controlled mains pressure shower.
There is a garden with a stone wall and garden seat which guests have sole access to.

Gortree Road is beautiful with views of rolling countryside down the Faughan Valley and beyond in the distance to Grianan Fort. It’s ideal for a country stroll. Along the road you will glimpse the River Foyle and beyond that to the hills of Donegal. The road has a variety of hedgerow with gorse, elder, honeysuckle and wild roses. There is a variety of wildlife, watch the buzzards hover over the field and listen to a variety of bird song.
