General information
Leaving Lisburn by the Lagan Towpath, Blaris and Bog Roads to Maze Village the ride continues towards Moira via the Lurganure Road to Broomhedge. Continuing on the Halfpenny Gate, Inishloughlin and Laney Roads before passing over the motorway on Hillsborough Road to Moira Main Street. Continue on Station Road and pass Moira railway station before swinging left into Chestnut Hill Road. At the next crossroads turn right and reach the A26 Turn left and take care as the traffic can be heavy and fast, though there is a well surfaced hard shoulder. In just over a half a mile be prepared to turn right into Hammonds Road to reach Meghaberry. From here turn left onto Mullaghcarton road then the ride climbs slowly. In approx. 2 miles turn right into Drumcill Road, take the first left then a steep descent leads to a T junction. Turn right then keep left into Cross Lane then the first left into Lissue Lane. At the next T turn right and continue to the traffic lights at the Moira Road. Go straight over then take the first left into Blaris Road and continue to Lisburn via the Lagan Towpath.

Getting to the start: Follow NCN Route 9 from Lisburn or Moira. Lisburn railway station is approx. 1mile away. If travelling by car follow signs for the Civic Centre. Ample car parking at the Civic Centre or nearby metered car parks.
Traffic: Mainly light traffic throughout except for Blaris Road at times and at Moira Main Street. Traffic can be heavy and fast on the short stretch of the A26

Relatively flat along the Lagan Valley but the route climbs up to Meghaberry before several fast descents with sharp bends before returning to the flat towpath.
