The Jamaica Inn

188 Seacliff Road, Bangor, County Down, BT20 5HA
A main meal, mussels with bread

About

The vision back in 2004 for its new owners was for The Jamaica Inn to be renowned throughout County Down as the best place to eat, drink and enjoy live music. Whilst ambitious, it felt achievable and they have worked hard to ensure The Jamaica Inn is now known province-wide (and talked of even further afield!).

What makes them special? They put their heart and soul into making the business work. Food is locally sourced and freshly cooked, this may mean a slightly longer wait than in other restaurants when busy, but rest assured its for the right reasons and always worth waiting for! Renowned as a family friendly venue, they have a friendly and welcoming team, great drinks and live music at weekends. There really is no need to go elsewhere!
