Herds House was built in the early 1800s and is a listed building. In April 2019 we were delighted to be nominated for the Andrew Llyodd Webber Angel Heritage award. This award formally recognises the achievements and dedication of individuals who show passion and commitment in conserving and restoring local historic buildings.
1 mile from belcoo/blacklion villages. Beautiful local restaurants /pubs. Treat yourself to a meal at the award winning Mc Nean bistro ran by local but famous chef Nevin Maguire. Booking details can be found on their website booking Is essential.
The UNESCO Marble Arch Geopark surrounds the villages of Belcoo and Blacklion. The popular legnabrocky trail or ' Stairway to Heaven' is a 10 minute drive away. Marble arch caves, Claddagh Glen, The Burren are of similar distance.
Florencecourt house and gardens are also close by. The house and gardens are splendid. Great for walking and cycling. Enjoy their house tour . Or simply relax and enjoy a coffee in their beautiful coffee shop. You will never be swamped with crowds of people. Its a magical place to stop and take a breath. Each season bringing its own beauty. A must visit. You wont be disappointed.
Enniskillen town is approx. 10 miles away with loads to see and do.
