A beautiful property full of character, fully equipped for a comfortable stay. This property blends the old with the new, retaining its original features whilst providing everything required by the modern day holiday maker.

The three bedrooms all have lovely Lough views and comfortable beds. The two reception rooms have open fireplaces where you can enjoy a crackling log or turf fire. A dining area has a large oak table with seating for six opening onto a galley style kitchen. A shower room with toilet downstairs and an upstairs bathroom with a roll top bath provide ample washing facilities. In the garage (accessed through the kitchen) is a washing machine/tumble dryer and small freezer. Glenasmole is situated within the conservation village of Strangford and within a few minutes walk of the house are restaurants, bars and shops.

Castleward National Trust property is a couple of minutes away by car, there are 18 kilometres of new tracks for walking or cycling and Clearsky outdoor pursuits centre has facilities in the grounds. A number of golf courses are within driving distance, if you prefer to spend your day on the golf course. Downpatrick-the county town of Down is 10 minutes drive away and here you can visit the Cathedral, the Down Visitors Centre and the Old jail museum. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in Downpatrick. Boat trips on Strangford Lough can be organised for sightseeing or fishing. If you want to travel further afield- Belfast (City Hall, Titanic, Belfast Castle), Newcastle (The Mountains of Mourne), Bangor (the beautiful Marina)and Lisburn (The Linen Museum) are all easy to travel to for a days outing. The North Coast at the Giant's Causeway can be reached within two hours. Antique hunting in Saintfield with its small antique shops is a lovely way to pass the morning or afternoon stopping for coffee or lunch in one of its many coffee shops.
