About

Make the most of your time in Belfast on a unique and authentic walking tour with our local expert guides.

We are one of only a handful of walking tours in Northern Ireland to be awarded 5 Stars by Tourism NI and our lead guide, Paul Donnelly, was named the UK’s Top Tour Guide at the Wanderlust World Guide Awards.

Our city centre tour ‘A History of Terror’ explores the history of the Troubles and the path to peace and was named the No.4 Experience in the UK in 2019 at the Traveller’s Choice Awards. ‘The Best of Belfast’ is the perfect introduction to the city, its beautiful architecture, stunning street art, unique history and the amazing stories of its citizens from across the centuries.

Our tours are all about 2 miles long and take between 2 and 2.5 hours at a gentle pace, and we use tour guide audio systems to ensure you hear your guide clearly at all times.

Scheduled tours run daily. Private and Group tours are also available.

Or if you prefer exploring the city in your own time and in your own company, we have a range of free and premium Self-Guided Audio Tours on our ‘DC Tours Belfast’ app, available for both Apple and Android devices. Self-Guided tours include 'West Belfast: Peacewalls, Murals & More', 'The Best of Belfast City Trail', the 'Queens Quarter Walking Trail' and our brand new free tours 'The Titanic Quarter Trail on the Maritime Mile' and the 'Line of Duty Locations Trail'. The tours are packed with historical information, pictures, audio and even video. And the gps mapping system allows you to take total control of your experience. (The 'West Belfast' and 'Best of Belfast' audio tours are available in English, French and Spanish.)
