Saddle up and trace the ancient routes of settlers back to the Bronze Age in Ireland as you cycle through the idyllic countryside of the Sperrins in counties Derry & Tyrone visiting fascinating archaeological sites and local food producers of historic Ulster. The route links Park Village with Plumbridge, travelling along minor roads, passing Clougherny Wedge Tomb, the Butterlope Hill and Park Forest. With insider knowledge on the best places to eat and visit in the heart of the Sperrins your experience with your local guide is guaranteed to be off the beaten track.

This tour will guide you to handpicked venues to sample the delicious food that has been produced in the Mountains including, an opportunity to try delicious ‘Dart Mountain Cheese’ from a local cheesemaker. Committed to the principles of artisan production the team carefully produce food with the minimum use of machines to maximize the natural flavours of the cheese. Ingredients are sourced locally to keep food miles down, ensure traceability and recycle to minimize waste. The team are also committed to food integrity and source directly from the farms in the region to guaranteed the source of the food and improve spend in their local community.

The adventure will conclude with an intimate, informal lunch at Bradkeel Social Farm created from deliciously freshly hand-picked organic produce. Here you will also get expert tips on growing your own fruit and vegetables.
