Castleward House, Castleward Estate, Strangford, Downpatrick, Co Down, BT30 7LS
Castleward Bunkhouse

About

Stay in this well-equipped bunkhouse, in the grounds where hit TV series Game of Thrones was set. All around you’ll find hints of the TV series, from the replica of the Winterfell Archery Range to the castle-like buildings. The property also sits within 820 acres of woodland, close to the waters of the Strangford Lough with miles of walking and cycling trails, so there’s lots of exploring to be done. With its quiet, countryside location, it's a great base for active families and groups of friends.

The bunkhouse can accommodate up to 14 people and additional tent pitches can be booked at the nearby Castle Ward Caravan Park.

Whether you’re looking to go behind the scenes, taking up voluntary work or just want to see this part of Northern Ireland, Castle Ward Bunkhouse is the ideal base to start from. The Bunk House is certified by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
