About

Bluebell Cottage provides luxurious self catering accommodation for up to 8 people plus a baby in a cot. It is located on a large, lush holiday home site with direct access to Upper Lough Erne, private 30 berth marina, small play park and woodland. Bluebell Cottage has its own garden area and private car parking for three cars. The site is accessed via electronic gates and the cottages are set back 300 metres from the road providing a safe environment for children, and well behaved pets, who are welcome. There is a large mown grass area for outdoor games and a children’s play area. An outdoor shed is provided for storing bikes, fishing equipment etc.

Bluebell Cottage has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and sleeps 8 people plus a baby in the cot. It is perfect for family breaks or escapes with friends. There is a ground floor double bedroom with adjacent bathroom, upstairs the master bedroom is en-suite with decked balcony and there are two twin rooms which share a bath room off the landing. 

On the ground floor the kitchen dining area is open plan with a wood burning stove in the living room. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. French doors lead to the decked patio & gardens were there are outdoor table’s chairs and charcoal barbeque with direct access to the lakeshore.

The price includes; bed linen, towels, electric, central heating, wireless internet connection, basket of logs for the fire and each cottage is equipped the basic supplies for self catering such as cling film, tin foil, dishwasher tabs etc. Please note we do not supply cot bed linen.

During your stay you can hire one of our fishing boats and explore the local islands or simply view the wonderful wildlife on the lake. Hire a wood fired hot tub and relax in style beside the decked area at your cottage, or take advantage of some of the water activities offered onsite. In addition, complimentary sit on top kayaks are available from April to September. 

You're also welcome to bring your own boat and enjoy use of our private 30 berth marina during your stay. The marina also provides the perfect base for kayaking and open water swimming.

The cottage is ideally located for exploring Upper Lough Erne and beautiful County Fermanagh. Less than 20 minutes drive from Bluebell Cottage are some of our favourite places including: the instagram worthy The Stairway to Heaven Boardwalk at Cuilcagh Lakeland Geopark, the stunning ancient woodland at Crom Estate (A National Trust Property), all the outdoor activities you can dream off at the Share Discovery Village, and animals large and small at Carrowhoney Pet Farm. These are just to name a few, the County is filled with lots of things to do, nice places to eat, and great ways to get outside or relax!
