Just a few miles west of Newry City, Ballard Cottage is a little jewel waiting to be discovered. It is nestled on the slopes of Slieve Gullion, an area of outstanding natural beauty. A peaceful retreat from our stress filled lives. This 18th Hundred traditional cottage has been tastefully restored. The exterior preserves many traditional features whilst the interior benefits from a 21st century make over. It is the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy.

Directly opposite the house is a footpath leading to the top of Slieve Gullion Mountain, where you'll find a passage tomb and mythical lake. Scattered around the countryside are many ancient sites for you to explore. There's spectacular scenery to be found around every twist and bend on the road...it just has to be experienced.

This newly converted 3 star NITB approved cottage offers comfortable family/business accommodation. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Modern showeroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with electrical appliances. There is a dining/sitting area that features a multi-burning stove.
