Tourists will soon be able to sample some of the finest walking tours in Northern Ireland, after National Trails Day was officially launched.
The event will take place on October 4th, with visitors flocking from all over the world to sample some of the beautiful nature in Northern Ireland and learn more about the country's rural attractions.
It was launched by Michelle Gildernew, the minister for agriculture and rural development, who said that walks near the great attractions in Northern Ireland, such as Giant's Causeway, will make for an unforgettable experience.
"We have many beautiful forests and scenic nature trails and I want to encourage as many people as possible to come out on October 4th and enjoy some of the best countryside in Europe," she explained.
In other news, some of the more unique nature in Northern Ireland was on display this past weekend, when hundreds of visitors descended on Creggan Country Park in Londonderry, also known as Derry, for a moth exhibition.
