The Belfast Taste and Music Festival will see some of Chicago's finest chefs come to the Northern Ireland capital to serve up the best stateside food.
From August 6th to 9th, the city's Botanic Gardens will play host to culinary luminaries including New Orleans-style cook Jimmy Bannos, Chenese chef Tony Hu and Peter McGarrity, who combines Latin fusion, Italian and contemporary American dishes.
The delicious food will be complemented by musical acts from the Windy City such as tribute outfits Classic Clapton and the Counterfeit Blues Brothers, and acoustic soul and blues group The Bad Habits.
Director of the event Connie Cunningham commented: "Visitors can look forward to a 'boulevard' of restaurants serving delicious food, culinary and cocktail demonstrations, a full bar and continuous staged live music including rock 'n roll, blues and great tribute bands."
The Botanic Gardens are an important part of Belfast's Victorian heritage and home to important plant preservation buildings the Palm House and Tropical Ravine.
