'Perfect time' to eat in Belfast

Belfast offers a wide range of high-quality food outlets, meaning there has never been a better time to eat in the Northern Ireland capital.
According to the Times, Lisburn Road in particular has a number of fine food shops and delis.
The news provider went on to say that the Merchant Hotel on Waring Street offers a French-style gourmet menu alongside local fare such as Irish scallops and Finnebrogue venison, and its restaurant in a vaulted former banking hall is a popular choice for long Sunday lunches.
In the regenerated Cathedral Quarter, visitors to Belfast can find Nicks Warehouse, the newspaper continued, adding that the restaurants brasserie-style menu changes daily and has an affordable wine list.
The publication commented that St George's Market is considered Belfasts local food hub.
"Shop to the sound of live music and choose from freshly landed fish, local pork and beef, wild boar, venison, pheasant, organic fruit and vegetables, cheeses, and potato farls," stated the website.
From April 1st to 30th, Belfast will host its first shopping festival, which will see retailers showcase competitions, promotions, street entertainment and in-store activities.
