Visitors to Londonderry, also known as Derry, will be able to learn about Northern Ireland's past at a special exhibition running at the Tower Museum during April and May.
The show, entitled Down Memory Lane, will exhibit a range of artefacts which depict life growing up in the 50s and 60s from April 7th until May 29th.
Mayor of Derry Gerard Diver commented that the show will prove popular with locals and tourists, who will be able to learn about all aspects of childhood in Northern Ireland in the mid-20th century, including birth, bedtime, food and drink, health, schooldays and leisure time.
He added: "It will encourage people to recall childhood memories, share stories of their childhood and remember an era when life was very simple and very different to today."
The Harbour Museum in Derry is currently providing holidaymakers with the chance to see the North West Digital Film Archive, which uses digital film footage to chronicle the history of the north-west of Northern Ireland.
