Art enthusiasts planning to travel in Northern Ireland should plan their trip to coincide with an art exhibition celebrating the life and works of one of the country's most famous painters.
John B Vallely's impact and influence on the art world since he began painting will be displayed and explored at the event, entitled Retrospective: A Visual Celebration of the Life and Works of Armagh Painter JB Vallely.
Celebrating his 50 years as an artist, the exhibition will provide visitors with an insight into the various themes and subject matters which both intrigued and inspired him.
In addition, there will also be a limited-edition book available, documenting topics which have interested him in his career, including rural Ireland, its music and traditions.
The exhibition will take place at the former Northern Bank Building in Belfast between November 19th and January 31st.
Mr Vallely was born in County Armagh in 1941 and sold his first painting in 1958.
