New film in Northern Ireland being created

A new movie is being filmed in Northern Ireland starring Spider-Man's James Franco.

Co-star Danny McBride, who has appeared in films such as Pineapple Express and Tropic Thunder, told the Daily Record that the duo are currently filming in Belfast.

The new project, called Your Highness, sees the actors play princes on a quest, with a number of scenes being shot in Northern Ireland's capital.

McBride previously told the BBC: "I'm in Belfast right now... We're shooting a little movie out here in Belfast with James Franco and Natalie Portman, a little fantasy stoner action movie."

Also starring in the comedy film are Zooey Deschanel and Damian Lewis, with the plot following two princes who are trying to save their land and the heir's fiancée.

The filming of Your Highness is due to be completed in the next week and is likely to hit cinemas in 2010.
