Families looking to experience the best of nature in Northern Ireland will have the chance to track mammals at Delamont Country Park next month.
On July 5th, expert trackers will teach families to find stoats and badgers at the park.
Sharon Carroll, outreach and learning manager with the Ulster Wildlife Trust, stated that the event will give visitors the chance to find out more about native mammals in a fun, hands-on way.
"Delamont Country Park is home to all sorts of furry inhabitants from stoats and squirrels to bats and badgers. Hopefully, by getting people of all ages excited about these fascinating creatures, we can help protect them for the future," she added.
The event will run from 14:00 to 16:00 BST and is free of charge and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
From July 14th to 19th, fans of nature in Northern Ireland will be able to take part in workshops, competitions and children's activities at Belfast's Rose Week flower festival from July 14th to 19th.
