Musical events in Northern Ireland 'a night to remember'

Upcoming events in Northern Ireland's County Antrim will provide a night to remember, according to the organisers.

The Live Classics in the Park will take place in Newtownabbey on August 16th and is already being hailed as one of the most spectacular musical events in Northern Ireland.

Lisa O'Kane, who has organised the festivities, said previous shows have provided people of all ages with some of the finest opera and classical music performances the country has seen and promises that this year's extravaganza will be no different.

"The programme is designed to appeal to both fans of the opera and to those who are just curious, with the programme including popular opera and classical songs from Puccini, Lehar, Gershwin, Verdi, Mozart and Ivor Novello," she commented.

In other news, Armagh City and District Council recently presented the Jazz in the City event, which was dedicated to promoting music in Northern Ireland and hailed as a night to remember by attendees.
