Londonderry, also known as Derry, will host over 50 events to mark the walled city's Community Relations Week from April 25th to Saturday May 2th.
Attractions in Northern Ireland including film screenings at the Nerve Centre cinema, a series of workshops delivered by musicians Afresh, who hail from Zimbabwe, Slovakia and Poland, and a flower festival St. Columb's Cathedral will be on offer.
Mayor Gerard Diver said the events will highlight what community relations mean to individuals, how people perceive themselves and the way they relate to the rest of the community.
He added: "The programme is very varied I would ask that everyone attend at least one event to show their support for diversity and challenging sectarianism and racism in their own area."
From April 7th until May 29th, visitors to Londonderry will be able to view Down Memory Lane, an exhibition of artefacts which depict the lives of children growing up in Northern Ireland in the 50s and 60s.
