Leonard Cohen coming to Odyssey Arena

Leonard Cohen has revealed he is going to play Belfast's Odyssey Arena as part of his upcoming tour.

The singer and songwriter, famous for creating the original version of Hallelujah, is to appear at the popular venue this summer.

On Friday, tickets will go on sale for the event, which is due to take place on July 26th and is expected to be very popular with fans.

The Belfast date is part of a number of additional dates added to the Canadian musician's tour.

Prices for the tickets will range between £75 and £90, for which audiences will see the star performing hits such as Suzanne, Sisters of Mercy, So Long, Marianne and Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye.

The singer has received recent press attention after Hallelujah was covered by X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, clinching the number one spot and becoming the fastest-selling track from a female artist in UK history.ADNFCR-1859-ID-19099808-ADNFCR
