Rock group Horslips are returning to Belfast for a final concert after bidding farewell to events in Northern Ireland 20 years ago.
The 70s group gathered fans and the mantle of being legends almost 30 years ago when they started out, but left the scene in the 80s after a gig in the Ulster Hall.
However, the rockers are back now to greet fans for a final farewell performance, coming to Belfast's Odyssey Arena this December.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be playing in Belfast again," bassist and unofficial frontman Barry Devlin told the Ulster Star.
The musician said that the band did not think they would ever get together again and perform live, after carrying out a number of television gigs in 2004/05.
However, the band have repaired any broken friendships from when they broke up, with Devlin telling the newspaper: "Quite quickly after we broke up we were back to being best mates."
They will perform on December 3rd, with music fans also able to see Simple Minds and OMD on December 10th at the venue.
