Girl group plan 2009 success

28 November 2008 -

Fans of music in Northern Ireland's should look out for Lisa Collins, who is planning to top the charts during 2009 with her band ElectroCute.

The 25-year-old formed the group three years ago, when she left her home country to move to London and pursue her musical dream.

She met Kerry-Lucy Taylor at a party in the English capital and held auditions at Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden, where they recruited Emma Colaco to form a trio of singing talent.

The three are currently recording material for their album, which they plan to show to industry executives next year.

At present they are unsigned but they are performing various gigs across the UK in a bid to bring their "pop music with a bit of attitude" to the masses.

Despite residing in London, Lisa regularly returns home to Northern Ireland to visit her country and her family.

In other music news, the Kings of Leon are scheduled to play at the Odyssey in Belfast on December 20th.
