Giant's Causeway run to be a marathon challenge

An upcoming race will provide participants and spectators with spectacular views of one of the most famous attractions in Northern Ireland.

The Giant's Causeway Marathon takes place on October 10th when athletes will have to complete a 26.2-mile course from Portballintrae to Ballintoy Harbour.

Runners and those watching can view some of the most fantastic scenery and beautiful nature in Northern Ireland, as the race winds along the Causeway Coast and past Dunseverick Harbour, White Park Bay and Ballintoy Harbour.

In addition to the main marathon, there will be a half marathon and a shorter 10km race where amateur athletes and fun runners can get a taste of one of the most stunning events in Northern Ireland.

After the event has finished, participants and spectators alike may wish to visit the Causeway Speciality Market at the Diamond, Coleraine, where they can pick up some of the finest food in Northern Ireland.
