Franz Ferdinand extend tour to Belfast

Franz Ferdinand have revealed they are to play additional dates on their UK and Ireland tour and add to the events in Northern Ireland.

The band has added to their previous six-date tour and will now be playing at Belfast's Mandela Hall on March 2nd.

Another date in Southampton has also been added to the line-up, which includes appearances in Glasgow, Manchester and London.

Tickets are now on sale for the tour, which will be displaying the work on their new album – Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.

Yesterday the band released their first single from their third album, entitled Ulysses, with the next offering – Tonight – due out on January 26th.

The news comes after it was revealed that Status Quo are to appear in Belfast next month.

On February 4th the Waterfront Hall will host the rockers, who will play classics like Rockin' All Over The World and Caroline from their 32 albums.ADNFCR-1859-ID-18981837-ADNFCR
