Follow in celeb footsteps to Belfast

21 November 2008 -

People who want to travel to Northern Ireland for a short break can follow in Noel Gallagher's footsteps.

The Oasis bandmate has previously said he loves holidaying in the country as he always gets a warm welcome.

He added: "The smell of the air brings it all back to me…I love it here, it’s the land of my fathers."

The singer also branded Belfast as one of the greatest cities in Europe, the Belfast Telegraph reports.

Stena Line, the ferry company, is offering deals for people to follow in Noel's footsteps and fall in love with the country.

Nigel Tilson, UK communications and public relations manager, says: "Ireland is the perfect place to enjoy a short break with its close proximity to Britain not to mention breathtaking views and fantastic tourist attractions."

He adds that the country has a lot to offer for a variety of holidays, from city breaks in Belfast to spa and pampering breaks.

Mr Tilson states that taking a ferry to the country offers more opportunities while away, as families or couples will have a car to explore the country in.ADNFCR-1859-ID-18888542-ADNFCR
