Fireworks displays to get Carrickfergus in the Christmas spirit

Carrickfergus and the surrounding area will begin getting in the Christmas spirit later this month, as a number of spectacular festive fireworks display will be some of the most dazzling events in Northern Ireland.

Greenisland, Whitehead and Carrickfergus are all staging explosive yuletide attractions in the coming weeks to mark the start of the festive period and put locals and visitors in the mood.

On November 20th, Carrickfergus will be hosting the spectacular events in Northern Ireland, when the fireworks will top off a day filled with music, silver bands, Santa Claus visits and much more.

Meanwhile, rockets will fill the skies over Greenisland on November 26th and Whitehead on the 28th, when the festive events in Northern Ireland get underway with a bang.

Some altogether more traditional Christmas events in Northern Ireland will also be taking place in Carrickfergus on November 20th, when the Civic Carol Services get underway at St. Nicholas' Church from 19:00 GMT.ADNFCR-1859-ID-19438053-ADNFCR
