Visitors to Northern Ireland this weekend will be able to get in the carnival spirit at St Columb's Park.
The Summer Magic carnival parade will be held on Sunday May 24th in Londonderry, also known as Derry, and will see a large number of inflatables travel through the area.
Masterclasses will also be held by the North West Carnival Initiative before this weekend's event, giving people a chance to "hone their carnival skills".
Helen Harley, carnival development officer at the initiative, said she is "delighted" to have the opportunity to welcome summer to Derry.
"Itll be a great opportunity for families to come out and enjoy the range of fun-filled activity," she added.
Mayor councillor Gerard Diver said the parade will be a "wonderful close" to the family weekend n Derry, adding that it will be a "lovely day out" for children and families.
Last bank holiday Londonderry held a Jazz festival, which, alongside Halloween and St. Patrick's Day, is said to have brought at least 62,000 visitors to the area, reports Londonderry Today.
