An upcoming event in Antrim is to feature discussions about some of the finest literature in Northern Ireland's history.
The Pogues Entry venue on Church Street will stage An Evening With Great Irish Writers on September 7th, an event which promises to take attendees on a journey through the history of poetry and novels in the country.
It is being staged in Northern Ireland for the first time, having previously been a success on the other side of the Atlantic, and features acclaimed Actor Neil O'Shea, who re-enacts famous events and brings characters such as Jonathan Swift's Gulliver to life.
The LA Metro described it as "an evening of enjoyment and education, an engaging intermingling of laughter and heightened poetry", while the LA Times labelled the production "a testament to O'Shea's unassuming expertise".
Meanwhile, every Sunday afternoon until September 27th, visitors to Belfast can explore the many locations that inspired the stories of CS Lewis, one of the finest writers of literature in Northern Ireland.
