Photography enthusiasts are being urged to send in their entries to an event promoting nature in Northern Ireland.
Since April 3rd, the 26th annual photographic competition at Belfast Zoological Gardens has encouraged tourists and locals alike to submit their pictures of the beautiful nature in Northern Ireland, whether it be plants, animals or scenery.
Event sponsor HB is urging the final entrants to send in their efforts ahead of the September 25th closing date in a bid to win a cash prize.
Gerard Lee, HB account manager, said that the company is "delighted to be a proud sponsor of the competition, which not only challenges the budding photographer to be skilful and creative, but requires patience and understanding toward the behavioural patterns of the animals".
Meanwhile, visitors to Belfast will be able to learn more about the fabulous nature in Northern Ireland's capital city this Saturday (September 26th), when a special guided tour of the zoo takes place to celebrate 75 years since it first opened.
