Belfast's newest hotel, the Ramada Encore, will open today in the city's Cathedral Quarter.
The establishment will create more than 60 jobs as well as provide luxury accommodation in Northern Ireland.
Lord mayor Tom Hartley commented that the opening of the hotel is part of a significant year for tourism in Belfast, which will also see the completion of renovating schemes at the City Hall and the Ulster Museum.
"This is an exciting time for Belfast and the Ramada Encore is an exciting addition to our portfolio of world-class hotels delivering our famous hospitality to visitors from near and far," he added.
Alongside its 169 bedrooms, the hotel will provide a range of conference and meeting rooms and house the Hub coffee bar and the SQ Bar and Grill restaurant.
The 130-guestroom Fitzwilliam Hotel opened in Belfast on March 11th and houses superior, executive and king rooms, as well as six studio suites and a two-bedroom penthouse overlooking the city.
