Eagles tribute to soar in Newtownabbey

A tribute to The Eagles is set to rock the foundations of Newtownabbey later this month.

The Illegals will swoop down on the Courtyard Theatre on October 23rd and fill the venue with music in Northern Ireland as they belt out some of the group's classic hits.

Fresh from sell out events across Northern Ireland, the Illegals will be joined by former winner of the Eurovision song contest Niamh Kavanagh.

Over seven artists will be filling the stage to perform hits including Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane and Take It Easy.

In addition, the band will be paying a special tribute to Fleetwood Mac as part of a performance which the BBC described as "a brilliant reproduction of the legendary Eagles sound".

A very different kind of music in Northern Ireland will be emanating from the Courtyard Theatre on October 12th, when Castleward Opera's 25th anniversary show takes place.
