Newtownabbey will play host to a celebration of art and culture next month, as the 1 Act Drama Festival is just a week away.
The Courtyard Theatre will host the theatrical events in Northern Ireland from November 5th, where a number of performances over the weekend will entertain fans of the stage.
On the first night, the Bangor Drama Club will be performing its new production Interior Designs, which concerns a handyman who helps three elderly ladies to find happiness.
The following night, the Hollywood Players will stage The London Vertigo, a satirical look at Irish Anglophiles in the 18th century, while the Lurig Drama Group will present Melody immediately after, a tale of "lunch, romance and classical music in the park".
Those in Newtownabbey on November 21st will also be able to attend one of the most traditional attractions in Northern Ireland, when the annual Christmas fair will see over 30 stalls selling toys, crafts and seasonal food.
