Over 50 events will take place in Downpatrick and surrounding areas this month as Down celebrates St. Patrick's Day.
The event is one of the largest cross-community celebrations in the country and runs from March 9th to 17th.
Organisations from across the district have contributed to the festivities, which include a concert of choral and instrumental music presented by Down High School at the Great Hall in Downpatrick on March 12th and 13th and a family evening of music, song, dance and storytelling at Loughinisland GAA Club on March 14th.
Councillor Colin McGrath commented: "The St. Patrick's Festival is always a time of enjoyment and celebration and it is wonderful to see all sectors of the community come together to enjoy the festivities."
He went on to say a number of religious ceremonies have also been outlined in the festival programme to remember the country's patron saint.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Londonderry, also known as Derry, will host a community-based carnival to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year.
