People seeking a golfing holiday set in picturesque surroundings should head to the Giant's Causeway, which athlonsports.com claims is a spectacular example of nature in Northern Ireland.
The website claims the location provides fantastic facilities for golfers to enjoy, playing their sport against a stunning backdrop of splendid scenery.
In particular, the news provider highlighted the Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim and Portstewart Golf Club in County Londonderry as two places which are especially good for travelling enthusiasts.
While the quality of the facilities impressed the writers, the natural beauty of the Giant's Causeway struck them just as much.
"The scenery provides a breathtaking marriage of land and water roughly two hours north of Belfast, where myth and legend add mystique to the 40,000 basalt columns that jut from the sea," the visitors stated.
Golfers planning to travel in Northern Ireland and enjoy golf courses across the country could also head to the Lough Erne Resort in Fermanagh, which Irish Times journalist Jonathan Stapleton recently recommended.
