Brady 'looking forward to Ulster Hall performance'

25 March 2009 -

Strabane-born singer-songwriter Paul Brady will play Belfast's historic Ulster Hall on Sunday (March 29th).

The multi-instrumentalist is one of Northern Ireland's most popular artists, famous for testing the boundaries of his own talent and the limits of Irish contemporary music.

Last month, Brady commented that he was looking forward to his performance, which will commemorate the venue's reopening after the completion of a £7.43 million refurbishment project.

"Some of the most enjoyable nights I've ever had on a stage were in the Ulster Hall ... buoyed up by the legendary warmth of a Belfast audience. I'm really looking forward to coming back to the new look venue," he commented.

He went on to say he is hoping to rekindle the old magic during the performance.

Brady's best-known albums, including True For You, Back To The Centre, Primitive Dance, Trick Or Treat and Spirits Colliding collectively established him as the pre-eminent Irish singer-songwriter of his generation.
