A new movie will focus on the mother of Manchester United football legend George Best.
Those interested in films in Northern Ireland will be able to catch Best: His Mother's Son on April 26th on BBC Two.
Written by one of Northern Ireland's leading dramatists, Terry Cafolla, and directed by Colin Barr, who helmed Emmy award-winning drama Maxwell, the biopic will focus on the alcoholism of Best's mother, Ann.
The film will star Tom Payne in the role of Best, while Michelle Fairley plays his mother.
Barr told the BBC that the film "will offer answers to some of the questions about why George turned out the way he did. It's not just criticising and judging, it is exploring Best in a fresh way".
Last week, it was revealed that multi-million dollar feature film Your Highness, staring James Franco and Danny McBride, will be shot by Universal Pictures entirely in Northern Ireland's premier studio facility, The Paint Hall.
