The newest addition to Belfast Zoo is being unveiled today, with visitors urged to come along and see Kabus the tiger.
After spending the last few weeks settling in, the big cat will now call Belfast his home and will add to the range of beautiful nature in Northern Ireland's capital.
Kabus is a Sumatran tiger, an endangered species, and zoo manager Mark Challis is hopeful that his time at Belfast Zoo will lead to further additions to the number of tigers there.
"It is particularly pleasing to have Kabus, as he is an energetic young tiger that will appeal to all kinds of visitors. Next year he will meet a female from Fuengirola Zoo, Spain," he said.
Those visiting Belfast Zoo can view some of the most spectacular nature in Northern Ireland's capital, as the attraction is home to a large array of exotic flowers and animals ranging from anteaters to zebras.
