It’s what makes our gardens grow!

The Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) is creating a new brand for tourism in Northern Ireland.  The brand will reinforce what makes Northern Ireland unique and will focus on the brand theme ‘uncover our stories’. 

Through the creation of our ‘garden swatch card’ we have tried to uncover our unique garden stories. We believe stories illustrating our garden heritage, such as Europe’s largest rhododendron bush being found within the walls of Hillsborough Castle; and the Mother of all Irish Yew Trees hailing from Florence Court in Fermanagh, will surprise a few people and inspire them to visit our gardens. 

Indeed with lots of people planning to holiday much closer to home this year, we hope our garden website and swatch card promote an even greater interest in visiting gardens and taking time out to explore more of Northern Ireland.
