Belfast Children's Festival (Thurs 6 - Sat 15 Mar)
The 27th Belfast Children’s Festival takes place in March over the course of 10 days. This funky festival is home to an eclectic programme of local, national and international events that entertain, wow and delight. With incredible performances, activities and creative experiences for everyone, including a range of inclusive shows specially created for those with additional needs and of course, the Festival Family Day Out. Expect to see everything from baby raves and cardboard hotels for mice to new plays written by teenagers destined to follow in the footsteps of Brian Friel. This is not just a festival for children but for everyone, from the young of age to the young at heart.
Home of St Patrick Festival (Sun 9 - Mon 17 Mar)
Armagh City, the "Home of St Patrick", will host a festival that offers a thrilling showcase of history, culture, traditional music, dance and good food & drink. This years programme includes an Irish Whiskey Masterclass, a talk in the Armagh Robinson Library, contemporary Irish dance show and Dawn Light at Navan Centre and Fort. One of the highlights is the Vigil Walk which takes place between the two St Patrick's Cathedrals. This is a chance to reflect on the legacy of St Patrick and have fun celebrating his influence on history and culture.
Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival (Thurs 1 - Sun 11 May)
One of NI's longest running and best-loved festivals is back featuring over 100 acts – big, small and everything in-between. With 11 days of live music, comedy, film, literature and visual art in dozens of venues across Belfast's historic cultural quarter and beyond. Join the festivities showcasing a wide range of artistic disciplines, including music, comedy, theatre, visual arts, and literature for the 25th year running. The inclusive programme features a blend of established artists and emerging talent.
The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush (Sun 13 - Sun 20 July)
The 153rd Open is returning to the stunning Causeway Coastal Route from July 13-20, 2025. This highly anticipated event will take place at the iconic Royal Portrush Golf Club, offering spectators a unique opportunity to witness world-class golf in a breathtaking setting.
