Frances Morris, Buttermarket, Enniskillen
Frances Morris returned from Manchester to her native Enniskillen in 1997. From her small studio in the corner of the Buttermarket Craft & Design Centre where her early Irish landscapes and porcelain ceramics were sought after, one can fast forward to her wonderful gallery in the old Market House.
There are four rooms in total, each overflowing with a selection of the artist’s dynamic work – original paintings, and limited edition prints and photographs.
In her downstairs studio space there is always an ever-changing exhibition of her original landscapes in various sizes, in the detailed, joyous style for which Frances is renowned. Upstairs is a room devoted to a wide range of giclee prints, always in demand, featuring some of her most popular landscapes from Ireland, France and Italy. The newest addition to the Gallery is a room dedicated to the impressive range of photographs.
The Gallery is open to visitors daily except Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Please phone to check in advance if coming from a distance. You are welcome to call in, or email contacts details to be included on the exhibition mailing list.
